This Policy applies to digital products and services sold under the Threadwise brand.

1. What This Policy Covers

This Policy applies to digital products and services sold under the Threadwise brand, including:

  • 🤖 Threadwise Studio: credit packs, edits and other Studio tools
  • 🎬 Videos: short AI videos (currently beta), when offered
  • 💳 Membership: monthly subscription with monthly credit renewal, when offered
  • 🛠️ Threadwise Studio Custom Apps: self-built Custom App implementation and done-for-you Custom App service
  • 🎓 Courses, workshops and trainings, when offered
  • 🎨 Digital downloads such as patterns, templates or illustration packs

All products are digital and access usually starts immediately after purchase.

2. Standard Rule: Digital Products Are Generally Non-Refundable Once Used

Because Threadwise products are digital and access/performance typically starts immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered/used, unless required by law.

This includes:

  • Studio credits and paid options (including Fast Pass, where offered)
  • Courses, replays, paid workshops
  • Digital downloads
  • Membership billing periods already started

3. Demo Access Exists (So "I only tried it" Is Not a Refund Reason)

We provide ways to test Threadwise Studio before you buy.

3.1. Demo availability

  • Demo access may be available through our website or by request via email/form.
  • If you email us or request a demo via the website form, you will usually receive a test link within 24 hours.

3.2. Manual approval

  • Demo access is not automated. We review requests manually to prevent spam/fraud/abuse.
  • We may decline demo requests.

3.3. Important refund point

  • Claiming that you "only used a few credits to try the app and didn't like it" does not create a right to a refund or partial refund once paid credits were used.
  • If you want to test first, request demo access.

4. EU/EEA Consumers: Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

If you purchase as a consumer in the EU/EEA, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts.

4.1. Digital content/services and starting performance

For digital content and digital services, EU rules allow the right of withdrawal to be limited once performance begins, but this depends on the required consumer consents/acknowledgements being collected.

4.2. How refunds work for Studio credits (simple rule)

  • Credits are refundable only if unused.
  • If you withdraw within 14 days and no credits were used, we refund you.
  • If any credits were used, we do not refund the purchase, because the digital service has already been used and outputs may have been obtained.
  • This is the cleanest rule in practice and matches how digital performance works.

4.3. If a refund is approved, outputs must not be used

If we approve a refund (for example unused credits, or a billing/system error), you must stop using the Service related to that purchase and refrain from using any content received from it. EU rules require consumers who withdraw to refrain from using digital content/services.

We may require a short written statement (email confirmation is enough) that:

  • you will not use any outputs obtained from the refunded purchase, and
  • you have deleted/downloaded copies where applicable.

5. Videos (Beta)

Videos are currently available as a beta feature. Because AI outputs may be unpredictable (odd motion, artifacts, unexpected details), video credits follow the same rules as other Studio credits:

  • refundable only if unused, unless required by law
  • no refunds based on dissatisfaction with AI output quality

6. Flag Reviews: Credit-Level Goodwill (Not Money Refunds)

Threadwise Studio includes a flag/report feature for cases where a generation is clearly broken. This section covers goodwill credit returns, not refunds of money.

6.1. When goodwill credit returns may be considered

  • the main product is completely changed and not recognizable
  • the image clearly does not make physical sense (impossible bodies/objects)
  • a clear basic attribute repeatedly fails (example: "pink")

6.2. What normally does not qualify

  • "I don't like it" / taste / style preference
  • minor artifacts that don't destroy the product display
  • small text distortions (known limitation of current AI)
  • pose differences, minor angle changes
  • "product looks slightly bigger/smaller than I hoped"

6.3. Goodwill, not a right

  • Flag decisions are goodwill. We may return credits, decline, or provide a note in the Studio dashboard.
  • Typical review time is up to 14 days.

7. Custom Apps: Refund Rules

Custom Apps are customized digital services.

7.1. Self-built Custom App (implementation after your submission)

This service includes review and implementation/programming after you submit your app.

  • refundable only before work starts
  • non-refundable once work has started (review/implementation work)

7.2. Done-for-you Custom App (built by Threadwise)

This includes discovery + calls + building and delivery.

  • refundable only before work starts
  • non-refundable once work starts (reviewing inputs, prep, research within scope, calls, building, implementation)
  • Work is considered started once we begin preparing based on your submission and/or scheduled onboarding (for example reviewing materials, preparing the structure, or building).

8. Membership (Subscriptions)

If Membership is offered:

  • it is a recurring monthly subscription as shown at checkout
  • started billing periods are generally non-refundable
  • membership credits renew monthly and do not roll over unless explicitly stated

9. Billing Errors & Serious Access Failures

A full or partial payment refund may be appropriate if:

  • you were charged twice for the same purchase
  • a checkout/system malfunction charged the wrong amount
  • a long-term technical failure fully blocks access to what you bought, the issue is clearly on our side (or our providers), you reported it, and it cannot be resolved within a reasonable time

Contact us with your order/payment ID and the email used for purchase.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

10. Refund Timelines

  • Flag/credit-level reviews: usually within up to 14 days
  • Approved payment refunds: timing depends on payment method/bank (often several business days)

11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If something looks wrong, contact us first at [email protected]. Many issues are fixed faster this way.

If you initiate a chargeback/dispute:

  • without contacting us first, and/or
  • while continuing to use Threadwise products, and/or
  • for a valid and already used transaction,

we may suspend or terminate your access due to suspected abuse/fraud and we may contest the dispute with evidence of delivery and usage. Chargeback procedures are handled by banks/card schemes and are not controlled by us.

12. How To Request Refund Help

Email: [email protected]

Include:

  • the email you used to purchase
  • order number or payment ID
  • a short description (double charge, access issue, etc.)

13. Relationship to Terms & Conditions

This Refund Policy works together with the Terms & Conditions.

If there is a conflict, the most specific terms shown at checkout and the Terms & Conditions take priority.
